Delays announce UK tour and ticket details

Band set for October gig run

Delays have announced details of a new UK tour that will see them previewing material from their next - currently untitled - album, due out in early 2010.

The band hit the road this October, calling at venues in Southampton, Glasgow, Brimingham, London, Leeds and Manchester.

In a statement, singer Greg Gilbert confirmed that the band will be playing new material on the tour.

"Our songwriting has always been known for its melody and grandeur, but what has come before only hints at the depth and world we've created in the new album," he said. "It's the best music we’ve ever made, and we just want to get out on the road and get some reaction from our fans at the venues where we started out."

Delays will play:

Southampton The Joiners (October 17)
Glasgow King Tuts (19)
Birmingham Academy 3 (20)
London Borderline (21)
Leeds Brudenell Social Club (22)
Manchester Night & Day (23)

Isn't that what every band on the way down says? "We want to connect with our audience in the venues we started out in". Yup. Soon enough the audience becomes nowt but friends and families once more. Do these whiney limpwristed fucktards even have a label anymore?

Didn't these fucktards twice get NME single of the week? They played these dates ahead of their last album, ahead of their tour of England's Academy's, and the US (again), and their festival dates. Carry on limpwristing at the front page darlings Johnny.
