The [b]Mercury Prize[/b] nominees release a new single to coincide with the jaunt...

IT'S SAFE TO SEE THE DELGADOS!

THE DELGADOS head off on a 10-date tour of the UK in October, preceded by a second single to be culled from their MERCURY PRIZE-nominated album, 'THE GREAT EASTERN'.

The single, 'No Danger', featuring a school choir, is released through Chemikal Underground on September 11. It will be accompanied by a video featuring 25 line-dancing nuns, directed by BAFTA-award winner Morag McKinnon and filmed in Glasgow.

The tour calls at: Newcastle University (October 2) Coventry Colosseum (3) Bristol Fiddlers (4) Manchester MDH (5) Cardiff Coal Exchange (6) London Royal Festival Hall (8) Brighton Concorde II (9) Portsmouth Wedgewood Rooms (12) Liverpool Lomax (13) Glasgow Garage (14)
