Denzel Washington film shoot sparks bomb scare

Dynamite props close to Ohio train station worry authorities

Dynamite props from Denzel Washington‘s new film sparked a bomb scare on Tuesday (Spetember 14).

Police were alerted after sticks of dynamite were found near a railway station in Ohio. The suspicious items, complete with dangling wires, were safely exploded by a bomb squad before it was discovered they were harmless.

It’s now believed the ‘dynamite’ was left behind by mistake by those involved with making Washington‘s thriller Unstoppable.

The film focuses on two feuding engineers, played by Washington and Star Trek‘s Chris Pine, who are forced to team up to stop a runaway train full of explosives.

It will be released in the UK on November 12.
