Depeche Mode

First wave of headliners and a Leeds spin-off confirmed

The Who and Depeche Mode are among the bands confirmed as headliners for this year’s O2 Wireless Festival.

The event which took place in London’s Hyde Park for the first time last summer returns to that location with David Gray and KT Tunstall appearing on June 22.

On June 23 The Flaming Lips, DJ Shadow and Pharrell Williams are appearing while James Blunt headlines on June 24 with Zero 7, Eels and Nile Rodgers & Chic on the bill.

Depeche Mode headline the final day on June 25, with Goldfrapp and goth veterans Bauhaus also featuring.

In addition to the London shows, there will be a two-day spin-off event taking place in Leeds at Harewood House.

Goldfrapp, Pharrell Williams and DJ Shadow are among the bands performing on June 24, while The Who will headline the following day June 25, with Super Furry Animals and The Flaming Lips also performing.

More acts are expected to be announced soon, including the headliner for the first day in Leeds.
