Depeche Mode gearing up for major North American tour
Plus they will release box set edition of upcoming album
Depeche Mode are set to tour North America this summer, launching the outing on July 24 in Toronto.
The dates will coincide with the release of their 12th studio album, 'Sounds Of the Universe', which will be released April 21 via Mute/Capitol/Virgin.
In addition to the standard CD format, the album will also be released as a Special Edition CD/DVD and a Deluxe Box Set that will include a host of exclusive material including three CDs containing the album, bonus songs and remixes, as well as 14 exclusive demos.
A DVD featuring three films entitled ‘Making The Universe’, ‘Usual Thing, Try And Get The Question In The Answer’ and ‘Sounds Of The Universe’ will be included, as well as the promo video for the album’s first single ‘Wrong’, and four songs filmed live in the studio in December 2008. Two 84-page hardback books will also feature in the set.
Stay tuned for specific details on venues and cities the band will visit this summer.
