Initial chart predictions have 'Independent Women Part 1' at the top of the pile...

DESTINY'S CHILD look likely to clinch Number One this coming Sunday (November 26), knocking rival LEANN RIMES off the top spot after just one week.

According to initial chart predictions calculated to the close of trade Monday (November 20), their track, 'Independent Women Part 1', which features on the soundtrack to the film 'Charlie's Angels', will reach the top spot.

However, their potential success comes in a week which, according to a spokesperson for HMV in London sees "relatively subdued" single sales.

Craig David's new single 'Walking Away' is currently at Number Three, while Ronan Keating's third solo single 'The Way You Make Me Feel' looks set to enter the chart at Number Five. The Baha Men's 'Who Let The Dogs Out?' is still selling well, and is currently at Number Four.

In the album charts, The Beatles continue to dominate with their Greatest Hits compilation '1'. Sales predictions suggest the Fab Four sold another 58,195 copies of the album by the end of Monday (November 20), with predictions suggesting that they could sell "150-200,000 copies again this week" - taking overall sales to almost half a million in just two weeks.

Westlife remain at Number Two with their album 'Coast To Coast', while Texas' Greatest Hits album is at Number Three. Coldplay's 'Parachutes' climbs back to Number Four.
