Folky makes comp to aid her rehab
Devendra Banhart has made Lindsay Lohan a mix CD to help her in her recovery.
The actress is being treated for substance abuse as an outpatient after attending rehab in Utah.
Banhart explained: “I made two mix CDs for her. I put Nico, Vashti Bunyan, Captain Beefheart, Caetano Velso and Joanna Newsome on there.
“She totally dug them. We ended up talking about Fleetwood Mac who we’re both obsessed with."
Of her recovery, he told WENN: “I haven’t talked to her recently. She’s taking care of herself. I’m trying to give her some space, because I think now is a tough time for her.”
The pair first met while doing a feature for Interview magazine last year.
Meanwhile, Banhart is due to play the following UK gigs:
Brighton St. George's Church (November 5)
