Devendra Banhart cancels US tour after breaking his leg skateboarding
Devendra Banhart has been forced to cancel the remaining dates on his US tour, after breaking his leg skateboarding.

The singer-songwriter, who along with his band, are playing in support of his 2009 album 'What Will We Be', has pulled tonight's show in Utah (March 29) and tomorrow's performance in Colorado (30).

"So your old pal Devendra just broke some bone in his leg skateboarding before the show yesterday," Banhart said in a statement on his website DevendraBanhart.com. "I wanted to play the shows anyway like in a bed or something but the dr's didn't think that was a great idea."

Meanwhile, Devendra Banhart is still scheduled to play at this year's Isle of Wright Festival in June.

The cancelled dates are as follows:

Salt Lake City, UT The Depot (March 29)
Denver, CO Ogden Theatre (30)
