ARMSTRONG TACTICS!
Elton John's alter ego performed an acoustic set at HMV...
DIDO, whose profile went supernova after being sampled by EMINEM on his Christmas hit 'STAN', performed an acoustic set at HMV in LONDON's OXFORD STREET this afternoon (February 12) in front of hundreds of fans.
The London singer/songwriter, who performed onstage with Eminem on his UK dates last week, is being tipped for a Number Three single next week with 'Here With Me'.
She played the single plus two other tracks, 'All You Want' and the title track from her album, 'No Angel'. She appeared to enjoy playing the free show, but complained because she was distracted by all the records around her and was compiling a shopping list. It was a chance for fans who had missed out on her sold-out headline show at London Scala last week.
After her set, fans queued for Dido to sign copies of the new single and her album.
Becky, 24, from Somerset said: "I love Dido's laid-back style, and the acoustic performance was different, but good."
Nikki, 16, from Harrow, said: "I've loved Dido for about a year. I'm made up that she's taken the time to perform before the signing."
