J Mascis will be playing acoustically

Dinosaur Jr. frontman J Mascis is to play a solo acoustic show in the UK next week (February 28).

The star will play London’s Metro, where he will be playing some old Dinosaur Jr. tunes as well as some from the forthcoming album by the reformed band, titled ‘Beyond’.

The show is free – mainly to competition winners – but there will be a few tickets available on the door on the day.

‘Beyond’, the first album by the band’s ‘classic’ line-up in 19 years, is out on May 1.

The tracklisting is:

‘Almost Ready’
‘Crumble’
‘Pick Me Up’
‘Back To Your Heart’
‘This Is All I Came To Do’
‘Been There All The Time’
‘It’s Me’
‘We’re Not Alone’
‘I Got Lost’
‘Lightning Bulb’
‘What If I Knew’
