The reformed alt-rockers line up North American tour

Alt-rock heroes Dinosaur Jr. are set to mark the release of their new studio album ‘Beyond’ with a string of dates across North America.

‘Beyond’ is the first album the band have recorded as their original line-up for 18 years, and will be released May 1.

To celebrate the occasion, frontman J Mascis, bassist Lou Barlow and drummer Murph will hit the road, kicking off in San Diego on May 10.


The dates are:

San Diego, CA The Casbah (May 10 - billed as ‘J Mascis And Friends’)
West Hollywood, CA The Troubador (11-13)
San Francisco, CA Slim's (15/16)
Portland, OR Crystal Ballroom (17)
Seattle, WA The Showbox (18)
Olympia, WA Capitol Theatre (19)
Bellingham, WA The Nightlight (20)
Minneapolis, MN Triple Rock (29/30)
Chicago, IL The Abbey (May 31 - June 2)
Ann Arbor, MI The Blind Pig (3/4)
New York, NY Irving Plaza (6/7)
Toronto, ON Phoenix Concert Theatre (8)
Montreal, PQ Club Soda (9)


Meanwhile Sebadoh - as fronted by Barlow - are currently continuing their own tour of the US.
