Lou Barlow to release solo record then support himself in Dinosaur Jr
Singer likens 'Goodnight Unknown' to early Sebadoh
Dinosaur Jr/ Sebadoh man Lou Barlow is set to release a solo album - and then support one of his own bands.
'Goodnight Unknown' is out on October 5. According to Barlow the album is: "a cross between my later work with Folk Implosion and my earlier work with Sebadoh… to my ears, anyway."
The tracklisting for the album is:
'Sharing'
'Goodnight Unknown'
'Too Much Freedom'
'Faith In Your Heartbeat'
'The One I Call'
'The Right'
'Gravitate'
'I’m Thinking…'
'One Machine, One Long Fight'
'Praise'
'Take Advantage'
'Modesty'
'Don’t Apologize'
'One Note Tone'
Barlow will tour the record with his backing band The Missingmen, who are set to support Dinosaur Jr at shows this autumn.
