Director have been confirmed as the secret headliners for the Club NME: Dublin Christmas bash on December 21.
Having filled the 1,600 capacity Ambassador venue on December 9, the Dublin four-piece, whose debut album ‘We Thrive On Big Cities’ went into the Irish charts at Number Two, top a bill featuring three of the country’s hottest new acts.
The gig, which takes place at The Hub, in the city's Temple Bar area, will be Director’s last Irish headliner for some time as they embark on tours of the UK and Europe for much of 2007.
Two more high-profile Irish acts are set to be added to the Club NME: Dublin Christmas blow-out, and will be announced over the next few days.
Tickets for the event are strictly limited and on-sale from tomorrow (Saturday 16) priced €10.00.
