Dirty Pretty Things show sells out in eight minutes
As more bands are added to Carling 24
Tickets for April’s 24-hour music marathon went on sale at 10am and also saw Ian Brown’s gig at the same venue sell out in ten minutes and passes for Razorlight’s Shepherd’s Bush Empire appearance snapped up in under an hour.
Amongst the acts just confirmed for the event are The Pipettes, Scratch Perverts, 747s, The On/Offs and Captain.
The day long festival will run continuously for 24 hours in London between 7pm on April 28 and 7pm the following day with gigs taking place at venues across the capital.
So far the running order is this:
April 28
7pm Kaiser Chiefs, Captain, The Pipettes (Brixton Academy)
10pm Ian Brown, Scratch Perverts (Carling Academy Islington)
11pm Goldie Lookin Chain, The Cuban Brothers, Clint Boon, James Priestley (Canvas)
April 29
7am Larrikin Love, The Holloways (Camden Barfly)
11am Dirty Pretty Things, Metro Riots (Carling Academy Islington)
2pm The Ordinary Boys, The On/Offs (Hammersmith Palais)
4pm Razorlight, Shepherd's Bush Empire

Unlike last year's Carling 24 event, there are currently no plans regarding a Manchester leg.
