The band are forced to draft in a new member
Dirty Pretty Things have been forced to draft in a new member after frontman and guitarist Carl Barat broke his collarbone.
Josh Hubbard from The Paddingtons will temporarily take over Barat’s duties on guitar after it was confirmed the star suffered the injury in Taiwan last week.
As a result of the change, no dates will be cancelled, although it is not clear how long Hubbard will be with the band.
The band’s American tour starts tonight (August 8) in Los Angeles.
The full list of dates are as follows:
Los Angeles Henry Fonda Theatre (August 8)
San Francisco Slim’s (9)
Chicago Schubas Tavern (11)
Boston Great Scott (13)
New York Bowery Ballroom (14/15)
After playing a couple of festivals in mainland Europe, Dirty Pretty Things return to the UK to play the Carling Weekend: Reading and Leeds festivals over the weekend of August 25-27.
