Carl Barat surprises Newcastle with late night gig

Dirty Pretty Things made a surprise appearance at Club NME in Newcastle late last night (September 25).

Taking to the stage at 2am, after sets from The Blood Arm and Belgian electro rockers Goose, the band played a selection of tracks from their debut album 'Waterloo To Anywhere', including current single 'Wondering', alongside several classics.

The encore saw frontman Carl Barat lead band and audience through a cappella versions of 'France' and 'I Get Along' by his old band after the guitars they borrowed for the gig were packed away by the stage crew.

The band played:

'Deadwood'
'Road To Ruin'
'Doctors And Dealers'
'Blood Thirsty Bastards'
'Wondering'
'Boys In The Band'
'Bang Bang You're Dead'
'France' (a cappella)
'I Get Along' (a cappella)
