Former Libertines and Dirty Pretty Things man to play live soon

Carl Barat is set to return to the live music scene with a solo show following the break-up of his band, Dirty Pretty Things.

Dirty Pretty Things announced that they were splitting up on October 1, although they are set to play a gig a the Hackney Round Chapel on December 11.

Frontman Barat told NME.COM he would continue to write music following the split, and it has since been revealed that he will play a solo show at the Los Angeles Troubadour on January 14 next year.

Barat will be supporting his friends Glasvegas on the evening.
