UK electronic duo Disclosure are expected to reach the Number One spot in the UK Albums Chart for the second time following the release of second album 'Caracal'.

'Caracal' follows 2013 debut 'Settle' and was released last week (September 25). The album features guests including The Weeknd, Lorde, Miguel and Sam Smith.

Disclosure are currently 7,000 combined charts sales (which includes physical, digital and streaming formats) ahead of New Order, whose new LP 'Music Complete' features Iggy Pop, Brandon Flowers and La Roux. 'Music Complete' is also the first record from the group since bassist Peter Hook left in 2007.

Meanwhile, Chvrches are currently at Number Three in the midweek charts, according to the Official Charts Company. The Scottish trio's second album, 'Every Open Eye', follows their 2013 debut 'The Bones of What You Believe'. The band also played NME's free magazine launch show earlier this month.

In the UK Singles Chart, Sam Smith's 'Writing's On The Wall' is on course to be the first Bond theme to reach Number One. None of the previous 23 themes have reached top spot in the UK. Smith's predecessor, Adele's 'Skyfall' reached Number Two in 2012, a feat matched by Duran Duran's 'A View To A Kill' in 1985.
