Dizzee Rascal started a dance party in honour of Michael Jackson at Glastonbury today (June 27), playing a medley of the late singer's songs during his Pyramid Stage slot.

The rapper was playing a hit-laden afternoon set which saw him cover The Ting Tings to open his show before he rapped over MIA's 'Paper Planes'.

"We lost a legend this week," he declared shortly into the performance. "So I think we should do something to remember him."

His DJ, Semtex, then played snippets of Jackson's hits including 'Billie Jean' and 'Thriller'.

Earlier Dizzee had kicked off his set a Rascal-fied version of The Ting Tings' hit 'That's Not My Name', changing the lyrics of the song to "They call me Wiley...", a cheeky referencing his grime rival.

He also revealed when his next album, 'Tongue 'N' Cheek', would be released, declaring it would hit the shelves on September 21 ahead of new track 'Road Rage - which will also feature on the record.

As well as the covers, including a short rap over 'Paper Planes', Dizzee Rascal played his forthcoming new single live for the first time - the trance-y Calvin Harris-produced 'Holiday'.

Earlier, before playing 'Fix Up Look Sharp', he, along with the help of Semtex, got different crowd sections to try and out-cheer each other before leading one big cheer of "Ooooy!".

He closed his set with a rapturously-received rendition of his Number One Armand Van Helden collaboration 'Bonkers'.

Dizzee Rascal played:

'That's Not My Name'
'Just A Rascal'
'Stop Dat'
'Road Rage'
'Where Da Gs'
'Paper Planes'
'Sirens'
'Fix Up Look Sharp'
[Michael Jackson medley]
'Pussy'ole (Old Skool)'
'Dirty Cash'
'Stand Up Tall'
'Flex'
'Dance Wiv Me'
'Holiday'
'Bonkers'
