Dizzee Rascal is set to release his very own trainer this Friday (September 18).

Available exclusively through Nike's 1948 store in Shoreditch, London the Mercury Prize winning artist has worked alongside Nike Sportswear to make the limited edition Nike Air Max 90 'Tongue N' Cheek' sneaker.

Talking about the project Dizzee said:

"The Air Max 90 is pretty much the street shoe, innit? It's quite sporty, but when you get the right colours you can wear it with anything."

He added: "But with this one we tried to keep it quite plain so it could complete any outfit. It's functional and there was a pretty deep design process involved"

Released just days before Dizzee’s new album - 'Tongue N' Cheek' - which is released on September 21 - the rapper has also made a video to promote both with long term collaborator Ben Drury.
