It seems that Dizzee Rascal has found a new way to kill time in between recording albums - this time with a spot of carp fishing.

The rapper, who is currently taking an extended break before recording the follow-up to 2009's 'Tongue N'Cheek', is featured in this month's Angler's Mail magazine explaining his love for angling. The magazine is on newsstands today (May 24).

"The first time I went carp fishing I caught about 12 of them, but that might have just been beginner’s luck," he explained of his recent fishing stint in Surrey. "I didn't think I was going to like it until I gave it a go. It takes a little while to get it right. It's a relaxing pastime that allows me to take a kick back and switch off."

Dizzee isn't the only rapper to enjoyed a spot of fishing, with the boys from N-Dubz and Eminem having both talked in the past about dabbling with a rod and hook.
