Dizzee Rascal will headline this summer's Shakedown festival in Brighton.

The rapper will headline the one-day festival, which takes place on October 6 in the city's Stanner Park. Razorlight headlined the event in 2011.

See Shakedown.co.uk for more information about the event. More acts will be revealed for the festival in the coming weeks.

Dizzee Rascal recently revealed that his new LP, which will be his fifth studio effort and the follow-up to 2009's 'Tongue N' Cheek', will feature contributions from house producer Erick Morillo and Calvin Harris. It is due to be released later this year.

Dizzee kick-started his 2012 comeback with the release of a free mixtape at the beginning of the year (January 1) and later admitted that he still liked "making big pop records" and had no plans to abandon his mainstream chart success.
