Dizzee Rascal has branded Glastonbury "the ultimate festival in the world".

The rapper will perform on the Pyramid Stage tonight (June 28) right before headliners Arctic Monkeys - his first set at Worthy Farm since 2010, when he was joined onstage by Florence Welch.

"Glastonbury is such a national treasure," Dizzee said, speaking to The Sun in advance. "It is the ultimate festival in the world. In fact, it's one of my favourite places to play and is up there with my career highs like winning a Brit Award and playing at the Olympic opening ceremony last year."

Weighing up Glastonbury next to its international rivals, Dizzee added: "I have done Coachella, Big Day Out and Future In Australia but they don't come close to Glastonbury - it's the one. There is nothing like having 80,000-plus people laid out in front of you, singing your songs. That is something else."

Dizzee Rascal is set to release his new album 'The Fifth' on July 1. It features his hit collaboration with Robbie Williams, 'Goin' Crazy', as well as appearances from will.i.am, Tinie Tempah, Calvin Harris, Jessie J and Sean Kingston. After Glastonbury, the rapper will perform at festivals across Europe through July and August, returning to the UK for a set at T In The Park on July 13.
