Warrant issued for arrest of DMX again
Rapper just can't seem to stay out of trouble
A warrant has been issued for the arrest of DMX, this time for missing another scheduled court appearance in Arizona.
A Maricopa County judge issued the warrant after the rapper, whose real name is Earl Simmons, failed to appear in court to face drugs, identity theft and animal cruelty charges.
He also ruled that when Simmons does appear, he will be forced to post a $120,000 cash bond or else will be jailed, reports TMZ.
The rapper’s lawyer says that as far as he knows, Simmons is currently undergoing rehab, but failed to show the judge the documents to prove this.
In addition to animal cruelty and drugs charges, Simmons is accused of providing a fake name and social security number to avoid medical expenses after being treated at the Mayo Clinic in Arizona.
