DMX was finally arrested on Tuesday (December 9) after a warrant was issued for him following a missed court appearance.
The rapper, real name Earl Simmons, was taken into custody in Miami and will now be taken to Phoenix, Arizona, where he faces charges of drug possession, identity theft and animal cruelty.
DMX has been arrested on a number of occasions previously and has even served short jail terms.
His two new albums, 'Walk With Me Now' and 'You'll Fly With Me Later', are set for release in early 2009.
