DMX is set to join the cast of ‘Celebrity Rehab’, following a 90-day stint in jail for a variety of offences.
The rapper is the first celebrity to be announced for the upcoming series of the show, which is in its third season.
DMX, whose real name is Earl Simmons, has been in trouble with the law many times over the past couple of years for offences such as animal cruelty, drugs and weapons possession and traffic charges. He was also accused of assuming a false identity to get out of paying a medical bill at the Mayo Clinic.
‘Celebrity Rehab’’s resident drugs counsellor Bob Forrest told RadarOnline that Simmons has been confirmed to take part in the show, which airs on VH1.
