Country star postpones US jaunt due to breast-induced pain

Dolly Parton drops tour complaining: 'You try wagging these puppies around'
Dolly Parton has postponed her previously-scheduled US tour - because of back pain caused by her enormous breasts.

The country music star is expected to reschedule the tour dates, which had been due to begin in Minneapolis, USA on February 28, around six to eight weeks after the original dates. Original tickets will be valid for all the new shows when they are announced.

The previously announced European dates, due to start in Stockholm on June 13, are not affected.

In a statement, Parton said: “I know I have been breaking my neck and bending over backwards trying to get my new CD and world tour together, but I didn't mean to hurt myself doing it!

“But hey, you try wagging these puppies around a while and see if you don't have back problems. Seriously though, the doctors said I will be good as new in a few weeks, and I can't wait to get back out there.”

However singer is not knocking her - erm - knockers, as yesterday (February 11) it was revealed that Dolly Parton has individually named her breasts "shock" and "awe", claiming they are more famous then her.

The unaffected European dates are:

Stockholm Stadium (June 13)
Malmo Stadium (14)
Viborg Stadium (15)
Krogshavn Langesund (17)
Kilkenny Nowlan Park (22)
Belfast Odyssey Arena (24)
Glasgow SECC (27)
Manchester Evening News Arena (28)
Glasgow SECC (29)
Nottingham Arena (July 1)
Birmingham NIA (2)
Cardiff International Arena (4)
London O2 Arena (5, 6)
