Dolly Parton denies Glastonbury rumours
Singer will not play surprise festival set
Dolly Parton will not be playing this year's Glastonbury festival, despite rumours to the contrary.
The singer is about to begin a UK tour, leading to rumours that she would play a surprise set at the festival this weekend (June 27-29).
However, a spokesperson for the singer today (June 27) denied she was bound for Worthy Farm.
"Despite reports today, Dolly Parton is not appearing at this weekend's Glastonbury festival," they explained. "She is tonight starting the UK leg of her world tour in Glasgow, playing in Manchester tomorrow night and a second show in Glasgow on Sunday night."
