Dolly Parton maps fall dates

Dolly Parton has announced a run of live shows, kicking off October 17 in Boca Raton, Florida.

The singer is continuing to support her album 'Backwoods Barbie', which was released in February this year.

Meanwhile, a musical version of the singer's film 'Nine To Five' is set to open on Broadway in New York, with music and lyrics written by Parton herself.

'9 To 5: The Musical' will feature Parton's Oscar-nominated song of the same name, as well as a further 20 new songs from the country legend. The show will debut in Los Angeles this month, and hits Broadway in the spring.
