Dolly Parton has been selected to be inducted to the Gospel Music Association Hall Of Fame next month.

The February 2 ceremony will also see Michael W. Smith, Dr. Bobby Jones and the Dixie Hummingbirds inducted, as well as producer Lari Goss.

According to the Associated Press , GMA President John Styll said the inductees were chosen because they share a common heritage of gospel music.

As previously reported, ‘Nine To Five’ is set to open on Broadway in New York, with music and lyrics written by Parton herself.

‘9 to 5: The Musical’ will feature Parton’s Oscar-nominated song of the same name, as well as a further 20 new songs from the country legend.

Parton starred in the movie ‘Nine To Five’ in 1980 alongside Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin.

The show will open on Broadway in April.
