Doves are pledging their support for The Samaritans’ new winter Campaign.
The charity are encouraging young people to discuss their emotional problems before they reach a more serious stage, something the band are backing.
“Personally and as a band we went through a hard time about 10 years ago,” the band explained.
Adding: “Being male and northern we never really talked about what was happening around us. Depression can be a taboo subject, but I know we were all affected by it at the time. Samaritans provide an essential lifeline for a lot of people who are going through hard times, especially at this time of year.”
