Judas Priest played a roaring show on the Main Stage at the Download Festival this evening (June 13).
As the band on before headliners Kiss, the UK metal veterans put on a spectacular show, packed with hits from throughout their career.
However the show opened with 'Prophecy' from forthcoming double album 'Nostradamus', released next week, which is based upon the life of the legendary prophet.
Dressed in a body-length studded leather jacket, singer Rob Halford told the crowd: "It's great to see you all at Donington again! We've been making metal for over three decades now, and next year is a bit of an anniversary.
"The name Judas Priest first came about in 1969, so that will be 40 years!”
Judas Priest played:
'Prophecy'
'Metal Gods'
'Eat Me Alive'
'Hammer and Anvil'
'Devil's Child'
'Breaking The Law'
'Hell Patrol'
'Death'
'Dissident Aggressor'
'Angel'
'Electric Eye'
'Rock Hard'
'Sinner'
'Painkiller'
'Hell Bent For Leather'
'Another Thing Coming'
