Dr Dre reportedly involved in ‘road rage’ incident

The rapper was reportedly 'cuffed and patted down' by police outside his Malibu home

Dr Dre has reportedly been involved in a “road rage” incident.

The incident is said to have occurred when a motorist blocked Dre’s driveway, and the rapper returned home in his own car and asked the driver of the other vehicle to move. TMZ reports that the other driver obliged, but proceeded to shout and swear at Dre as he was pulling away from the rapper’s driveway.

Dre then reportedly pulled out his phone, which prompted the other driver to say, according to a source, “Here we go again, another black guy with a gun.”

Because the other driver is understood to have called 911 claiming that Dre pulled a gun on him, L.A. police officers reportedly “cuffed and patted down” Dre when they arrived at his Malibu home. However, TMZ reports that Dre was never formally arrested.

Dre has yet to comment officially on the reports. According to TMZ, the L.A. officers’ police report will now be forwarded to the District Attorney, who will determine whether there is any kind of case based on the incident.

Earlier this year it was reported that Dr Dre was working on new music again. Last year (2015) he returned with ‘Compton’, his first album in 16 years,
