Drake has released four new tracks online today (June 22), launching a new website that reveals the release date for forthcoming album 'Nothing Was The Same'.

The website simply reads 'SEPTEMBER 17' 'Nothing Was The Same' before scrolling down to reveal Soundcloud links to four new tracks.

The new material featured includes 'Jodeci' - a freestyle rap with Roc Nation signing J.Cole, a contribution to PARTYNEXTDOOR song 'Over Here', a remix of Migo track 'Versace' and a new track 'The Motion', which is widely reported to appear on the forthcoming full-length release. 'The Motion' also features a guest appearance from SBTRKT collaborator Sampha and sees the rapper discussing the difficulties of accommodating work, family and pleasure.

This follows from the US star's recent North American tour announcement this week, which sees him tackle 41 dates across the country alongside Miguel under the label of the 'Would You Like A Tour?' tour.

Drake also unveiled a new track 'Girls Love Beyoncé' earlier this year, as well as two further offerings entitled 'Start From The Bottom' and '5AM in Toronto'. The former track, which saw the rapper work with Justin Timberlake collaborator James Fauntleroy, features Drake singing portions of Destiny's Child hit 'Say My Name' and seemingly rapping about sexism in music. "All my boys around me saying get money and fuck these hoes. Where we learn these values, I do not know what to tell you…" he raps.

Earlier in the year, Drake also came in at number five on MTV's Hottest MCs list, whilst Kanye West - who was voted in at number seven - complained that his fashion sense stopped him ranking higher.

'Nothing Was The Same' follows on from 2011 album 'Take Care', which has been certified platinum and has sold over 2 million copies to date.
