Drake has revealed that he is currently sleeping on the floor of his recording studio to make sure he completes his album on time.

The singer's third album 'Nothing Was The Same' is due for release on September 24 - which means he has to hand over the master tapes to his record label by September 9. At present, Drake is holed up at Metalworks Studios in the Toronto suburbs with his usual engineer-producer Noah "40" Shebib.

Speaking on Friday (August 30), Drake told Rolling Stone: "We have just 10 days before we turn it in. I'm literally sleeping in the studio on an air mattress. We're working 24-hour days to make sure the story is done, front to back. It has to be a new point of discovery."

In addition to Noah "40" Shebib, the album will feature production from Scottish DJ Hudson Mohawke, Hit-Boy, Boi-1da and Detail. Drake has recently revealed that the album will feature a cameo from his father Dennis Graham as well as guest appearances from Jay Z, Lil Wayne, 2 Chainz and James Blake.

Explaining how his collaboration with Drake came about, Blake told Rolling Stone: "I saw him at a show and told him I had some ideas knocking around, and he invited me to Toronto. Anything that comes out of that studio, I'm happy to be involved."
