Drake criticises Kanye West's 'questionable' lyrics
Rapper critical of 'Yeezus' track 'I'm In It'
The rapper has given a controversial interview with Rolling Stone, in which he is quoted criticising West and 'Yeezus', specifically the lyrics on 'I'm In It', saying: "There were some real questionable bars on there. Like that 'Swaghili' line? Come on, man. Even Fabolous wouldn't say some shit like that." Drake does go on to praise West though, saying he "loves everything about that guy".
In a series of tweets since the article was published, some of which have since been removed, Drake has claimed that he did not discuss 'Yeezus', and also hit out at the decision to not feature him on the cover of the issue. Recently deceased actor Philip Seymour Hoffman was a last minute replacement on the cover of the March issue.
I'm done doing interviews for magazines. I just want to give my music to the people. That's the only way my message gets across accurately.— Drizzy (@Drake) February 13, 2014
