Nicki Minaj joined Drake onstage during his rain-sodden headline set at Wireless Festival last night (July 7) - you can watch rough-and-ready fan footage of the performance below.
The pair, who are both signed to Lil Wayne's Young Money label, performed 'Make Me Proud', the duet that features on Drake's second album 'Take Care', released in 2011. It was the highlight of a set that was blighted by heavy rain, though most fans stayed until the end, and the audience was noticeably bigger than it had been for the previous night's headliner, Deadmau5.
Nicki Minaj herself had performed earlier, taking the stage 25 minutes late and rolling through hits taken from her two albums. Earlier in the day, Rita Ora opened the Main Stage, playing her recent number one hit single 'RIP.', and showcasing tracks from her upcoming album 'ORA'.
Kanye West prodigy, Nigerian singer/songwriter D'Banj, played to a overspilling crowd at the Pepsi Max Stage, proving one of the favourites on the smaller stages. Wiz Khalifa followed Professor Green's set on the Main Stage.
Lady Leshurr on the Unwind Stage was sparsely attended until Wiz finished, but seemed humbled by the enthusiastic crowd response, giving away a pair of new "£240 size 6 black mamba Nike trainers" to an audience member.
Wireless Festival continues today with performances from Calvin Harris, Rihanna and Jessie J.
