Drake has finally unveiled the full version of his new track ‘Trophies’, following a teaser clip previewed in a trailer for current album ‘Nothing Was The Same’. Scroll down to listen to the track in full.

Rap-up.com reports that the track was produced by Hit Boy, with co-production credits attributed to Hagler and Noah ‘40’ Shebib, while the track also features celebratory horn sections throughout alongside lyrics discussing the responsibilities the rapper is faced with.

Following lyrics declaring that, “this shit is not a love song”, Drake then drops a chorus that states: “If I was doing this for you then I’d have nothing left to prove/ This for me though/ I’m just tryna stay alive and take care of my people/ And they don’t have no award for that/ Trophies.” The Canadian star then goes on to talk about his parents splitting up.

It was also recently confirmed that Drake would host an episode of Saturday Night Live in January 2014, acting as both the compere and the musical guest for the hit US show. The episode is due to air on January 18.

Drake is also set to return to the UK in March next year, where he will embark on an eleven-date headline tour, culminating in three nights at London’s O2 Arena. Drake is set to play the following shows:

Manchester Phones 4u Arena (March 11/12, 2014)
Sheffield Motorpoint Arena (14)
Glasgow The Hydro (15)
Nottingham Capital FM Arena (16)
Birmingham NIA (20/21)
Liverpool Echo Arena (22)
London O2 Arena (24/25/26)
