Drake was the guest host on last night's (January 18) episode of US TV show Saturday Night Live.

The Canadian singer/rapper threw himself into every part of the show, featuring in nearly all the sketches - including impersonating Lil Wayne and Jay-Z. He also performed 'Started From The Bottom', with a snippet of 'Trophies' - which you can watch below - and he paired a piano ballad version of 'Hold On We're Going Home' with 'From Time'.

Meanwhile, Drake recently confirmed that he played a role in the transfer of football player Jermain Defoe from Tottenham Hotspur to Toronto FC. Rumours suggested that rapper Drake, who is a friend of Defoe's and also an ambassador for Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment, which owns Toronto FC, was instrumental in the move. Drake has now confirmed the rumour.

"I don't know if I had an influence on him coming here," Drake told the Toronto Sun. "I think that all I did was give him the necessary information about a city he didn't know much about. I told him how great it's been to me, and how great I assumed it would be to him. We had a great conversation. We built up a personal relationship."

Drake will tour the UK in March, with The Weeknd providing support on all dates.

Drake will play:

Manchester Phones 4u Arena (March 11/12)
Sheffield Motorpoint Arena (14)
Glasgow The Hydro (15)
Nottingham Capital FM Arena (16)
Birmingham NIA (20/21)
Liverpool Echo Arena (22)
London O2 Arena (24/25/26)
