Drake is reportedly under police investigation over allegations that a stripper in Texas was threatened by people associated with the rapper.

TMZ reports that Jhonni Blaze, a dancer from Houston, told local police that people from Drake's camp threatened her after she had sex with him. Blaze states that he began angrily texting her in a bid to keep her quiet. She then claims that a number of people banged on her door, and threatened to kill her.

Sources close to Drake told the US publication that the allegations are false. The Houston Police Department confirmed to TMZ that they have launched an investigation into a man they will only identify as a "possible celebrity".

Drake recently finished a US tour with Lil Wayne where the live show saw the pair battle each other during one segment. An app could be downloaded prior to the performance which allowed fans in the audience to "help their favourite rapper 'power up' and impact their performances in real time".

Both rappers teamed up on new song 'Grindin' to promote the tour.
