Meanwhile, Drake is facing a multi-million dollar lawsuit after distancing himself from a new documentary charting his rise to fame.

Producers of Drake’s Homecoming have filed a $15 million (£10m) lawsuit against the rapper. Drake’s Homecoming: The Lost Footage is built around a 2009 Drake concert at Toronto’s Sound Academy. Featuring a then 22 year-old Drake, the documentary boasts footage “previously believed lost and destroyed”.

Drake has also been announced as one of the one of the headliners at London’s Wireless festival this year. He joins Nicki Minaj, Kendrick Lamar, David Guetta and Avicii on the bill.
