Duffy admits she can't dance at V Festival

Welsh songstress gets Chelmsford crowd to help her along

Duffy admitted to fans that she can't dance while performing at the southern leg of V Festival today (August 16).

The singer, who played the 4Music Stage, then asked the crowd to dance with her.

After performing her first track 'Distant Dreamer', Duffy said: “There's an unbelievable amount of people here, I can't believe it! I have to admit V Festival that I can't dance so dance with me please!”

The singer and her six-piece band then launched into 'Serious', also taken from her debut album 'Rockferry'.

Duffy, wearing a blue gingham dress and frequently swinging her microphone, declared she had “a wonderful time” before she ended the set with her recent Number One single 'Mercy'.

Duffy played:

'Distant Dreamer'
'Serious'
'Hanging On Too Long'
'Rockferry'
'Breaking My Own Heart'
'Warwick Avenue'
'Delayed Devotion'
'Stepping Stone'
'Mercy'
