Eagles Of Death Metal will release their third studio album, 'Heart On', on January 26 next year.

The album will be the first record by the band – featuring frontman Jesse 'The Devil' Hughes and Queens Of The Stone Age's Josh Homme on drums – since 2006's 'Death By Sexy'.

Other musicians who perform on the album include The Distillers (and Homme's wife) Brody Dalle and Queens Of The Stone Age's Troy Van Leeuwen.

The record will be preceded by a single, 'Wanna Be In LA', set for release on January 19.

The band will play UK live dates in early 2009 although details are yet to be announced.

Songs set for the album include 'Anything 'Cept The Truth', 'High Voltage', 'Secret Plans', 'Now I'm A Fool' and 'How Can A Man With So Many Friends Feel So Alone'.
