The Killers’ Brandon Flowers has played with members of The Red Romance and Mohair onstage in New York.
The singer joined members of the two bands at The Mercury Lounge in the early hours of Thursday (September 28) morning for an impromptu jam session.
According to CMJ.com: “After a couple rounds, members of The Red Romance, Mohair and Brandon Flowers decided to take the stage and jam for an audience of approximately 50 people.
"Flowers sung, while members of the other bands played instruments around him as they tore through a cover of David Bowie's 'Heroes'."
As well as the Bowie song, the supergroup played a series of cover versions including The Beatles' ’A Day In The Life’, The Eagles' ’Desperado’, Elton John’s ’Your Song’ and The Velvet Underground’s ’I’m Waiting For The Man’.
