Echo & The Bunnymen star to stand trial Echo And The Bunnymen Tickets

Ian McCulloch will face assault charges

Echo And The Bunnymen singer Ian McCulloch is to stand trial accused of assaulting two fans.

The frontman allegedly attacked Gary Duncan and Juliet Sebley after a gig in Glasgow’s Barrowland last October.

The case was called at Glasgow District Court yesterday (April 4) and the singer pleaded not guilty by letter to two charges of assault and a third of breach of the peace.

The hearing has been adjourned until September 6 for trial.

McCulloch is charged with kicking open a toilet door which allegedly struck Sebley on the head.

The singer is also said to have repeatedly pushed Duncan.

He denies the third charge of breach of the peace by shouting, swearing and uttering threats at the two fans.
