Ian McCulloch heads home for one-day bash

Echo And The Bunnymen have announced plans to headline a free festival near their hometown.

The Liverpool band are set to play the Eclectica Music Festival at Victoria Square in St Helens for the one day bash on August 11.

Lead singer Ian McCulloch said: “We're really looking forward to playing such a great free festival so close to our hometown.”

Further acts are to be announced in the coming weeks, which will include some local up-and-coming bands.
