Ed Sheeran falls over onstage - watch
Singer took an embarrassing tumble on his first night supporting Taylor Swift in the US
Ed Sheeran fell off the speaker he was standing on during a performance in Omaha on Wednesday (March 13) night – watch it below.
The singer was rapping his way through his track 'You Need Me, I Don't Need You' when he hopped from one monitor to another and slipped, sending him rolling across the stage in front of nearly 14,000 fans at the sell-out gig in support of Taylor Swift on the opening night of her RED Tour in the Nebraskan city.
Sheeran is supporting Swift on her 66-date tour, which runs until September. During her headline set last night, he later returned to the stage for a duet of 'Everything Has Changed', the song he wrote for her recent album 'Red'. That time, however, he managed to keep both feet on the floor.
Sheeran is the latest pop star to come a cropper on stage, after Olly Murs took a spectacular tumble down the stairs at Guilfest doing his cover of Stevie Wonder's 'Signed, Sealed, Delivered, I'm Yours'. Kanye West, Beyonce, Robbie Williams, Pink, Katy Perry, Axl Rose and Aerosmith's Steven Tyler are also members of the club. Check them out below.
