Eddie Vedder announces eight-city solo trek
Pearl Jam frontman is bound for the East Coast
The singer has been touring in support of his album ‘Into The Wild’ which he recorded as the soundtrack to the movie of the same name, directed by Sean Penn.
The soundtrack earned Vedder a Golden Globe earlier this year for the song ‘Guaranteed’.
Meanwhile, a private performance by Pearl Jam in New York last week made $3 million for charity. The band performed at the 2,800 capacity Beacon Theatre to raise money for the Robin Hood Foundation, which aims to alleviate poverty. Some tickets for the show cost as much as $2,250.
