Reggae legend Eddy Grant kicks off day two of T In The Park

Reggae legend Eddy Grant kicked off the action on the Main Stage as day two of the T In The Park festival geared up today (July 12).

Grant, who came on at 12.15pm (BST), delighted the crowd with many of his big hits, including 1982 UK Number One 'I Don't Wanna Dance', 'Living On The Frontline' and set closer 'Baby Come Back'.

The song was a 1968 Number One for Grant with The Equals, and was also a chart topper in 1994 when covered by UB40 and Pato Banton.

The biggest sing-a-long was for reserved for Grant's most popular tune, '80s hit 'Electric Avenue'.

Grant seemed astonished by the response from the early afternoon punters, and said: "I don't know where you get your energy from, maybe it's the oats!" - referring to popular local product Scots Porridge Oats.

Eddy Grant played:

'War Party'
'Do You Feel My Love?'
'I Don't Wanna Dance'
'Electric Avenue'
'Gimme Hope Jo'anna'
'Living On The Frontline'
'Baby Come Back'
