Editors have topped with NME Chart with ’Smokers Outside The Hospital Doors’ tonight (June 10).

The knocked The Killers ’For Reasons Unknown’ off the top spot.

New entries this week have come from The White Stripes, who are at Number Four with ’Icky Thump’, My Chemical Romance at Number Six with ’Teenagers’ and Jack Penate at Number Ten with ’Torn On The Platform’.

Will Editors manage to hold the top spot when Arctic Monkeys comeback next week with ’Fluorescent Adolescent’? Or will The Rakes nab the top spot with ’The World Was A Mess But His Hair Was Perfect’?

The NME Chart is:

1. Editors - ‘Smokers Outside The Hospital Doors’
2. Queens Of The Stone Age - ‘Sick, Sick, Sick’
3. The Killers - ‘For Reasons Unknown’
